2012 was a year of amazing eating. I feel utterly blessed to live in a country where there is such an abundance of fabulous food. The culinary scene in Sydney is jumping out of its skin at the moment, and I urge you to get out and try somewhere new. Make a resolution for 2013 that you will try new things, be bold and brash with your food choices, but also be kind. Please think about where your food has come from and try to make the most ethical choice as possible. Think about how far the food has come to be on your plate, and try to cut down those miles. Why not plant a vegetable patch, grow some herbs on your balcony or even get your own chooks? Think about sustainability and what you can do to impact the world in a better way… You never know who you might inspire, so try and be that light.
