What’s not to like about $10 mojitos? Especially if they come with a side of fabulous conversation. La Bodeguita Del Medio on York St, opposite the QVB, didn’t exist in my world until today… Even though I have stood opposite it countless times to catch the bus home, I have simply never noticed it. Suggested by a friend as a venue for our little mid-week catch up, La Bodeguita, with its dark, heavy wood, was empty when we entered at ten to five, but rather full by the time we left a little over an hour later. Hemmingway was a huge fan of their “perfect” mojito at the Cuban orginial, and you know what? They go down pretty easily. Why not try for yourself?
