Red Knot

If you have a spare tenner, you cannot get a better return on your money than the return a bottle of Red Knot by Shingleback 2010 McLaren Vale Shiraz provides.

Normally, I dry wretch and convulse when presented with bottles of wine under $20, let alone $10, but seriously you will be astounded! Having sampled it one day in Dan Murphy’s, I would have gladly eaten my hat, if I’d been wearing one, as it was that good.

On the nose, this wine displays dark chocolate and leather and has a robust, fruit-driven palate with great structure far beyond that of other wines it its price class. With a swath of awards and medals this wine has made quite the mark on the critics.

The ideal weeknight quaffing wine, this will wash down that spag bol or sirloin perfectly. Get thee some.
Now.
