Musk Kisses. A perfect thing to do with leftover egg whites (the yolks went into ice-cream). Simply beat them to stiff peaks and add caster sugar. I didn’t even measure it this time. I just kept adding until it tasted right. Add a few drops of musk, a touch of colour and then pipe into little kisses. Sprinkle with coloured sugar and bake in a 100˚C, fan-forced oven for an hour or so.
A Musk Kiss is the perfect addition to my dessert of the week, which is mixed berry ice-cream, with fresh strawberries and cream. Delicious. And so pretty.
