‘ve just returned from a merry old evening at The Merrywell. After our final rehearsal for the week, we all needed some merriment, as Chess is a rather depressing show where nobody gets what they want. By the end of the run today, we all just wanted to curl up and cry ourselves to sleep. Pretty much the entire cast came and we all hoed into burgers and beer. The burger was rather exceptional today. The meat is just so tasty and juicy. See below… Doesn’t that just make your mouth water?
The fries are darn good too.
Some delicious looking chicken, bacon sandwich thing. Drool.
And, best discovery of the evening: they do spiders… alcoholic spiders. Spider of choice was a white sambuca with licorice ice-cream. It was strong. Excellent!
