Corridor

Finally, the wait is over and King St, Newtown, is beginning to house cute, niche bars that are about as far removed as possible from the likes of the Marly, the Courty and the Bank.

The first thing I love about Corridor is the wood. The bar and tables are made of beautiful beams of rustic, gnarled wood. Gorgeous. The second thing I love about Corridor is that I have been there for Happy Hour twice in the past week, and what is not to love about a $10 cocktail, especially when they are frighteningly tasty?

Cue last Thursday and darling Richard. A thrilling combination of a decade of laughs and stories, liquor and smiles. Cue tonight and darling Hodgie. A beautiful evening of good news, good booze and a Frenchman.
