With only a few days in Perth, making the call of where the best burger is likely to be found is tricky. With fond memories of the Burger Theory truck in Adelaide, Butty’s Food Truck edges ahead of other burger joints and is chosen.
Praise God! This is what burgers are all about: ugly, mashed-looking, greasy and charred. The Butty’s Double Burger is absolutely awesome and sates the burger whore in me. The meat is flame-grilled outside and pansie pink inside and coated in grease and juice and is slathered in a special sauce full of tang and love. The cheese is practically welded on; a fusion of beauty. The bun is dinted and a bit squished and has been pushed down on the grill to get those baby bits of black on her.
Chips are old-school crinkle cut and dusted in spice. The perfect match for this burger.
Although the only burger consumed in Perth, with all of my burger lovin’ knowledge, this would be bloody hard to beat and therefore I shall declare this the best burger in Perth.
