The Laughing Stock

burger

The Laughing Stock is a street food operation billing themselves as having Brilliant British BBQ. Set up at the Udderbelly South Bank, their Cheese and Bacon Burger looks like a perfect little picture of burger love. It’s fine, but has a disappointing lack of grease and juice. It’s not dry as such, but I want it to be dripping. There is no pickle-zing or mustardy tickles. Its brioche bun has a lovely amber sheen to it and is probably the stand-out feature of the burger. Although I love nice buns, the bun should never be the highlight, Again, it is not bad, but does not excite this burger lovin’ babe.
Fries were a bit cold and lacklustre. Gimme the lustre!
